Admissions & Enrollment at MEC
New Student Admissions
Montessori Educational Center offers toddler, primary, lower elementary, upper elementary and middle school classrooms. Each classroom environment follows a Montessori curriculum.
Each January, current students are invited to enroll for the following school year. Enrollment for new students is offered at the beginning of February. We encourage parents to visit the school prior to enrolling their children. A tour is an excellent way to see first hand how children at Montessori learn. To schedule a tour of our school prior to applying, please contact the school office at 318-445-0138.
Enrollment for all ages continues as long as there are vacancies. A waiting list is maintained for age groups with no current vacancies. We encourage parents to apply as early as possible. Many age groups reach maximum enrollment quickly.

Enrollment for current students is offered in January each year. Current students are given the opportunity to re-enroll before registration is available to the public.

The annual registration and supply fee for students of all ages is $375.
The annual tuition for the 2021-2022 school year is as follows (Monthly payment plans are available):
