ADmissions at MEC
Montessori Educational Center offers toddler, primary, lower elementary, upper elementary and middle school classrooms. Each classroom environment follows a Montessori curriculum.
Each January, current students are invited to enroll for the following school year. Enrollment for new students is offered at the beginning of February. We encourage parents to visit the school prior to enrolling their children. A tour is an excellent way to see firsthand how children at Montessori learn.
Enrollment for all ages continues as long as there are vacancies. A waiting list is maintained for age groups with no current vacancies. We encourage parents to apply as early as possible. Many age groups reach maximum enrollment quickly.
Tuition Rates
2024-2025 School year
Tuition rates vary by age and the amount of time students are at school. Discounts are available for siblings and a 3% discount is extended when tuition is paid in full by August. In addition to tuition, there is a $50 application fee and a $375 registration and supply fee.

Arete Scholars
Montessori Educational Center is an Arete Scholars school. Through private contributions from corporate and philanthropic partners, Arete Scholars awards need-based K-12 scholarships to children in private schools that best suit their unique gifts and learning needs.
Arete Scholars currently operates under tax credit scholarship programs in Georgia and Louisiana. Scholarship eligibility is based on the income guidelines for the federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program (FRL), and award amounts range from $4,000 to more than $4,900 per year. Parents can apply for financial aid through the Arete Scholars website.
